Nathan Ozog is an engineer in the Protection and Control Planning department at BC Hydro, where his primary work is in the application of protection relays to transmission lines, transformers, generators and other power equipment.  He completed his B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at UBC in 2006 and continued on into UBC’s Power and Energy lab to complete an M.A.Sc. in 2008.  Nathan’s research was part of a multi-disciplinary effort focused on the restoration of interdependent infrastructures following a major disaster.  Since that time Nathan has taught on a sessional basis, which he finds it both challenging and rewarding.
