Are you interested in assembling robots or designing software, envisioning the means for environmental protection or finding new ways to communicate with people in the most remote regions of the world?
At UBC Electrical and Computer Engineering, we offer exciting opportunities for students in the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, information and communication technology, nanotechnology, quantum computing and biomedical engineering, and the latest advances in the more traditional areas of electrical energy systems and electromagnetics, electronic devices and control systems.
Our programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering lead to a Bachelor of Applied Science in either of these fields. Students may choose to specialize in Biomedical Engineering, an option in the Electrical Engineering program. Both programs commence in second year after students have met the requirements of first year engineering.
