Photos from KERMAN province

Kerman province is one of oldest provinces in Iran. It is full of historical places that some of them date back to more than 2000 years ago (like Arg e bam, that I do not have any photos from this place for now :-). I have put some photos that I took in Spring 2003 in this page.

Come back again to see more photos.

The following photos are taken from Ganjali khan complex which is comprised of a public bath and bazaar. This complex was built during Safavid dynasty, 300-400 years ago. This complex includes a public bath that was being used until the end of Ghajar era (around 80 years ago), it changed to a museum and was decorated with statues about 60 years ago.

A desert (kavir) in central Iran. You can go for kilometers in this desert without seeing anything. So different from the other photos in this site, eh?

And this is the photo of a mountain peak that inspires the Iranian nation. It is a 5671 meters peak that always stands above the cloud.  This peak is not in Kerman province, but in Tehran. I took the photo in the airplane
