Social Events

Through out the winter term, the ECESS organizes and hosts many social events. Social events are non-academic and usually involves cheep food and bzzr. These are chances to take your time off of school and projects and let your mind relax.
Below is a partial list of events (social and not) you can expect to see. Time, date and location for these events are added as they're finalized. To stay informed, visit and subscribe to our event calendar.

We also host movie/hockey/games nights throughout the year, so stay updated by dropping by the student lounge regularly.
Welcome Back Barbecue
September (Date TBA)

Start the year off right by participating in our first day of school event. More information coming soon!

Ohmcoming
October (Date TBA)

Ohmcoming is a traditional Electrical Engineering event. Where we test our skills as a true EE. Yes, that means bzzr and soldering. When you add the two you get our famous Resister Races. Where teams of 4 go head to head in a competition of chugging and soldering. Come see what the fuss is all about if you're new, and defend your title if you're old.

E-Week
Febuary

E-week is when all engineering students come out to show our pride. Classic events includes: Foreplay, Skulk Night, True Engineer and Red Knight. For details on the week, watch for the E-Week edition of the nEUSpaper or check out the EUS website for details.
