I am a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. My research and teaching interests are in the broad area of wireless communications. My current research topics include space-time processing, space-time coding, ultra-wideband (UWB) signaling, multiuser detection, noncoherent receivers, equalization, interference suppression, coded modulation, iterative processing, and adaptive algorithms.
