Pedram Ataee has received his B.Sc. in Control Systems Engineering and M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran in 2005 and 2007 respectively. In 2007, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia to pursue his PhD in Biomedical Engineering. He currently works as a graduate research assistant in the ECEM group (Electrical and Computer Engineering in Medicine group) at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
Biomedical signal processing, system identification techniques, heart rate variability, autonomic dysfunction, biomedical sensors and systems.
