This project investigates the construction of a computational model for the vocal tract. This system allows users to draw a vocal tract outline using a vector graphics drawing tool, and animate the model using a animator tool. The vocal tract model will be useful for users, such as linguists, in the investigation of how the shape of the vocal tract affects sound output.
