Biography

Di Xu received her M.A.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Victoria, Victoria, B.C., Canada in 2007. She was supervised by Dr. Michael D. Adams in Digital Signal Processing Group.

Di is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC), B.C., Canada. She works with Dr. Panos Nasiopoulos in Digital Multimedia Lab.

Her research interests include high dynamic range video processing, digital video transcoding, image coding, digital geometric processing, and optimization applications on digital signal processing.
