About Me

My name is Amin Milani Fard. I finished my PhD studies on Jan 2017 in Computer Software Engineering at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia, under supervision of Dr. Ali Mesbah. My research was supported by an Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS-D) from NSERC.

Currently I am a visiting faculty at Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University, a researcher at Laboratory for Systems, Software and Semantics at Ryerson University, and a co-founder and the CEO at AnalyticsBuffet Inc.

I am originally from Mashhad, Iran. Having got my B.Sc. in Computer Engineering - Software, from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2008, my family and I moved to Vancouver. I finished my masters career in Computer Science in Fall 2010 at School of Computing Science, Simon Fraser University.

Apart from my reaserch studies, I am interested in history, theology, science, and literature. My favorite sport activites are basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, ping pong, foosball, soccer, badminton, hiking, biking, mountaineering, kayaking, and swimming.
