Welcome!

My research focuses on computer architecture including most recently, accelerators for deep neural networks. My group has also extensively explored the architecture of graphics processor units for non-graphics computing including developing one of the most widely used academic simulators for GPUs (GPGPU-Sim). An overview of my research activities can be found here. You can learn more about my background and current activities here.

I expect to have fully funded openings for September 2018 admission for new graduate students.

Recent talks

GPU Computing Architecture (short course taught at 2015 HiPEAC Summer School)
Efficient and Easily Programmable Accelerator Architectures (PDF)

Selected publications (Google Scholar Profile)

Stripes: Bit-Serial Deep Neural Network Computing (IEEE Micro Top Picks "Honorable Mention")

Cache-Conscious Wavefront Scheduling (selected as CACM Research Highlight)

Hardware Transactional Memory for GPU Architectures (selected by IEEE Micro Top Picks)
