Abstract | We propose an error concealment method for shape information in the MPEG-4 coded video sequences. A maximum a posteriori estimator, which employs an adaptive Markov random field, is used to restore the missing shape information. The proposed concealment method successfully reconstructs the missing shape data, with good computation-performance tradeoffs |
