Building Emergency Response Plan

A BERP (Building Emergency Response Plan) helps ensure the safety of building occupants through fire prevention and emergency evacuation and ensures compliance to the BC Fire Code.

The ECE BERP provides a checklist of procedures for responding to, and reporting, an emergency as well as assists in the recruitment and training of Building Emergency Directors and Building Floor Wardens.

The ECE BERP applies to the Fred Kaiser Building and the MCLD Building.
- Please note: fire extinguisher locations on included building plans are to be updated by campus planning in the near future.
